Run to Restore 2024

Join us for the 2024 Kingsway Care Run to Restore! You can choose to either run or walk and help raise much needed funds to fight homelessness and wrap our community in love. Whether you're a serious runner or prefer a leisurely stroll, we invite you to join us on the 26th of May with the whole family for a fun day out in support of the vulnerable in our community. You can register as an individual, family or register your team of 5 or 10 in to receive a discount on registration! Come a little earlier and participate in an extreme hip hop class with Tash. All registered participants will receive a complimentary breakfast. We look forward to seeing you on the day!

But if, you're not a runner! That's OK you can participate by registering for the un-run.

8:30am 3km & 8km runners start

Distance: Runners - 8km

Walkers - 3km or 8km route.

Southern Cross Kids

Southern Cross Kids is a fun, safe and encouraging environment for children at risk. Through the experience of an annual camp and ongoing monthly Kid's Club events, young people that have suffered trauma can enjoy friendship and fun in a safe place.
Official Opening of Georges River's First Adult Crisis Accommodation Service

There are currently 23 women, or women with children, who are survivors of Domestic and Family Violence in the Georges River region, and who have become homeless as a result of their situation. These women and children have had nowhere to turn, until now.
Homelessness soars in our biggest cities, driven by rising inequality since 2001

Homelessness has increased greatly in Australian capital cities since 2001. Almost two-thirds of people experiencing homelessness are in these cities, with much of the growth associated with severely crowded dwellings and rough sleeping.
